Time travel rules, a.k.a. The Eight (so far) Commandments of Time Travel
1. Thou shalt not travel within your own timeline/reality/whatever you want to call it.
2. Thou shalt not return to your time/reality/whatever. Ever.
3. Thou will change *ANY* timeline you go to, no matter what you do or do not do, just by being there.
4. Thou shalt not worry about temporal waves from your travel destroying that reality because you are not that important.
5. Thou can meet with the "you" from other timelines/realities/whatever and talk with them, go to the movies, start a war, or do whatever you want to do with them, because that "you" is not *YOU*.
6. Thou shalt do whatever you have/want to do in other timelines/realities/whatever as long as you don't cause trouble for the local deities for the punishment could be more than you deserve.
7. Thou shalt be screwed from the moment you leave your own timeline/reality/whatever.
8. Thou shalt not travel to the future because it doesn't exist yet, no matter when you are, because you are only changing lanes in a highway.
